We offer a few options in digital recording technology:

• The first option is to phone-in dictation via a phone line. This is done either by a local phone number if the call originates in Las Vegas or a toll-free number if the call originates outside the Las Vegas area. The completed transcription can be downloaded via this website in PDF format for immediate printing and archival purposes at your site. The documents can also be securely downloaded from our FTP server for editing purposes on your end.

• The second option includes recording dictation via a digital handheld recorder (we are most familiar with Olympus products). The voice is then securely uploaded and archived on our FTP server. Again, the completed transcription can be downloaded via this website in PDF format for immediate printing and archival purposes at your site. The documents can also be securely downloaded from our FTP server for editing purposes on your end.

We also provide access to the SW Transcription website for your doctors to download their particular dictation, i.e. Dr. Smith dictating at a surgery center may download his dictation from the website at his office.

All completed transcription files are archived at our site per HIPAA requirements.
